About the Provo Music Museum
The Provo Music Museum is a digital archive project documenting the history of Provo's music scene.
We're launching with our first exhibit: The Velour Archive — 20 years of live music history at Velour Live Music Gallery in Provo, Utah.
The Velour Archive
Since opening its doors in 2006, Velour has been a launching pad for countless musicians and bands, hosting over 4,000 shows featuring more than 3,000 artists. This archive celebrates the vibrant music scene that has made Provo a cultural hub in Utah.
The Data
All show data has been sourced from the official Velour website archives. We've processed and structured this information to make it searchable, browsable, and visualizable.

About This Project
The Provo Music Museum is an independent archival project created by Dean Cheesman and contributors who love the Provo music scene. The Velour archive is our first exhibit, but we hope to expand to document more venues, artists, and stories from Provo's musical history.
This project is not officially affiliated with Velour Live Music Gallery.
